Currently Making a Red and White Apron

I am in the process of making a white and red apron. I am taking smaller steps and doing a little each day. For example, one day I will complete the cutting and sewing of the main piece. The next day, I will cut the neck strap and tie straps, and pockets. And finally, I will sew the straps and pockets onto the main apron. If I break the project up this way, I can average 1-2 aprons a week.

Here is my progress so far.

I am currently working on the pockets and straps. This apron will look similar to the black and white one I created just a few weeks ago.

New Aprons!

I sewed these two aprons recently and they are two of my favorites! I love to find complimentary fabrics and pair them together to see what I can make. And, when there is leftover fabric, I always try to find something to do with it. I made a "peppermint tote" and a little candy jar and used leftover fabric I had from all of my projects.

All Finished With the Chocolate Brown and Teal Children's Aprons!

I bought a yard of each of the two types of fabrics used to make the children's aprons below and was able to make four aprons, and I still have some scrap fabric to work with for other projects. Here are the others I made. They are all different. I am finished with the children's aprons for a little while and will be moving on to adult aprons next!

Chocolate Brown and Teal Children's Apron

I fell in love with this fabric and thought it would be pretty to add a few complimentary pieces!

My Apron Collection

I decided to move on from pillow making and challenge myself to aprons. I am getting much better. I started with a half apron and then moved to full aprons, and completed another half apron tonight. I even taught myself how to gather the fabric and even made a mistake and learned how to rip open the seam and fix the mistake I had made. Here are the aprons I have made from newest to oldest.

Here are the two different types of fabrics I used for the one above.
